5.  Who is eligible to enter this competition?

This competition is open to homeowners over the age of 18 who live in Australia. The winner must be the registered homeowner of the bedroom being renovated.

6.  Can I choose the products and materials for the bedroom makeover?

While Studio Mae will take your preferences into account, the final selection of products and materials will be made by Studio Mae in collaboration with our partners to ensure a cohesive, beautiful, and sustainable design.

7.   Will I be able to make changes to the design once it’s created?

Studio Mae will work closely with you to understand your style and needs before creating a bespoke design. However, any significant changes after the design has been finalised or production has commenced may incur additional costs that would not be covered by the prize.

8.   Will I need to cover any costs?

The prize covers up to $40,000 worth of products and services from Studio Mae and our partners. Any work, materials, or requests beyond this amount will be at the expense of the winner.

9.   What if my room needs structural changes or additional labour?

The prize is intended for furnishings, decor, joinery, and design within the prize limit. Any structural changes or extensive labour requirements not covered by the prize may need to be arranged and paid for by the winner.

10.  Who are the prize partners? 

We couldn’t think of a better selection of Australian businesses to partner up with. One lucky winner will receive products or services from Streamlined Kitchens, Totem Road, Est Lighting, Murobond, Solis Window Furnishings, Carlotta & Gee, Hearth & Co, Jennifer Rosnell and Armadillo. 

 

 

Terms and Conditions:

Studio Mae Bedroom Makeover

1. Promoter
   The Promoter is Conscious Cribs Pty Ltd (ABN: 72 643 551 580), located at 2 Artarmon Rd, Willoughby ,2068, Australia.
2. Eligibility
   This competition is open to Australian citizens or permanent residents living in Australia, aged 18 years or older. Entrants must be the registered homeowners of the bedroom being renovated. Employees, contractors, and agents of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
3. Competition Period
   The competition opens on Thursday, 5th December 2024, at 3:00pm AEST and closes on Thursday, 16th January 2025, at 11:59 pm AEST.
4. How to Enter
   To enter, participants must:

1. Comment on the StudioMae competition post with the keyword “bedroom”
2. Answer the following game of skill question: “Tell us what you currently don’t like about your bedroom”
3. Submit your answer and personal details (name, email, phone number, image of your bedroom and suburb) via the direct message form Studio Mae Sends you
4. Follow the brands for additional entries
5. Accept Competition T&C’s

Failure to complete the direct message form by the specified deadline will result in disqualification.

5. Prize Details
The prize is a bedroom makeover valued at $40,000 AUD, provided by Studio Mae and partners. The prize includes:

• Interior design by Studio Mae.
• Build and joinery by Streamlined Kitchens.
• Bed frame and nightstands by Totem Road.
• Paint by Murobond.
• Window treatments by Solis Window Furnishings.
• Lighting by Est Lighting.
• Decorative vase by Hearth & Co.
• Artwork by Jennifer Rosnell.
• Linen by Carlotta & Gee.
• Rug by Armadillo.

Prize Conditions:

• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• All products and design elements will be selected by Studio Mae in consultation with their partners to suit the winning bedroom’s aesthetic.
• Any additional costs exceeding $40,000 AUD will be the responsibility of the winner.

6. Winner Selection
   The winner will be chosen based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the question by a judging panel from Studio Mae. The winner will be notified via email or phone by 23rd January 2025.
7. Media and Personal Information Consent
   By entering, participants consent to:

1. Sharing their personal information with Studio Mae and partners for marketing purposes.
2. Allowing Studio Mae to film and photograph their bedroom before and after the renovation for promotional use.
3. Participating in interviews before and after the bedroom transformation.

All media and promotional content may be distributed across Studio Mae and partner digital channels.

8. Design Revisions
   The winner is entitled to two design revisions for the prize only. Any further revisions will incur additional costs, which will be the responsibility of the winner.
9. General Terms

• The Promoter reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time.
• The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The Promoter assumes no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries.

10. Applicable Law
    These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
